Available-to-promise
Real-time available-to-promise across the plant network, the bill-of-material graph that shows which component is the bottleneck, and simulated mitigations in purchasing, material management and sales that are committed with write-back.
One working session with the people in the seat: which decisions, which systems, what a good week looks like.
The app you see above, running on your own exports instead of the simulated world. Every screen, every decision, your numbers.
Wired to your systems with your permissions, agents proposing, people approving, the ledger recording who did what.
Overview
Sales promises a date from a stock figure; the component that actually limits the finished good sits three levels down the bill of materials, and nobody sees it until the order slips.
The app computes ATP per finished good from on-hand, receipts and allocated demand propagated through the bill of materials, and draws the network so the primary and secondary bottlenecks are visible. From the bottleneck, purchasing simulates a spot buy, material management a transfer between plants, and sales a move of a customer to a valid alternative product, each showing the ATP delta before the action is committed to the ERP.
Key features
- ATP mitigation simulation: purchase, transfer or customer-shift scenarios with the ATP and revenue delta before commit.
- Network-level ATP visualization: plant materials, bills of material and finished goods as a graph with bottleneck flags, search around, grouping and layout.
- ATP opportunity alerting: purchasing opportunities and customers who can move to an alternative product surfaced proactively.
- Visibility screens for global KPIs, materials, vendors and supply, customers and demand, with operations screens that act.
Decisions it produces
- Commit a purchase order for a bottleneck material
- Create a stock transfer between plants
- Shift a customer order to an alternative product
- Change the ATP horizon and bottleneck threshold
Data sources
| ERP inventory and bills of material | on-hand, scheduled receipts, BOM levels and quantities |
|---|---|
| Sales orders | open demand by customer, date and product |
| Vendor supply | open purchase orders, spot capacity, lead times |
| Alternative products | substitution rules and customer acceptance |
