Automated procurement sourcing
An inbox for purchase requests that arrive as emails, PDFs and ERP entries: each is parsed into material, quantity and need date, matched to the material master, priced across vendors on unit price and lead time, and proposed as a purchase order with a confidence score and a written reason for the buyer to approve, edit or assign.
One working session with the people in the seat: which decisions, which systems, what a good week looks like.
The app you see above, running on your own exports instead of the simulated world. Every screen, every decision, your numbers.
Wired to your systems with your permissions, agents proposing, people approving, the ledger recording who did what.
Overview
Requests reach the purchasing team in whatever form the requester had to hand. The buyer re-keys the request, hunts for the material code, asks three vendors and picks one from memory of the last order. Contract terms and lead times are rarely part of the choice.
The app parses each request into a structured purchase request and matches it to the material master, then compares every vendor that can supply it on unit price, lead time and framework agreement. The proposed order carries a confidence score and a plain-language explanation; the buyer approves it, edits the quantity, reads the logic that produced it or assigns the request to a colleague when it needs a human decision.
Key features
- Purchase request parsing: emails, PDFs and ERP entries extracted into material, quantity, unit and need date, with the original text alongside.
- Material identification: matched against the material master with the last price, framework agreement and open stock.
- Vendor comparison: unit price and lead time for every vendor that can supply the material, side by side.
- Vendor choice: a proposed purchase order with a confidence score, an explanation, and approve, edit, view logic and assign actions.
Decisions it produces
- Approve the proposed purchase order
- Edit the quantity or vendor before approval
- Assign a non-trivial request to a contract manager
- Confirm the material when the request has no specification
