Overview

Supplier performance lives in one system, purchase orders in another and shortages in a planner's spreadsheet. Nobody sees which orders are late from which suppliers until a line stops.

The app joins suppliers, purchase orders and shortages into one view. The overview lists open orders with delivery dates, supplier and a risk flag, and the shortages they cause; the supplier page shows inbound on-time performance over time and the orders at risk with that supplier. The risk categories page lets a director write the rules in plain language, and applying them reclassifies every supplier and order and decides which ones need a human.

Key features

  • Supplier 360: supplier relations, risk assessment and purchase orders in one place, filtered by material, supplier, delivery date and quantity.
  • Open orders and shortages: every open purchase order with delivery dates, supplier and risk, and the shortages that follow.
  • Supplier performance: inbound on-time rate against average, delay history, and the orders that need eyes.
  • Plain-language risk categories: rules for supplier risk, order risk and human review, applied across the book.

Decisions it produces

  • Coordinate with a supplier whose orders are at risk
  • Expedite or re-source a shortage item
  • Change the supplier or order risk rules
  • Set which orders require human review
