Showcase/Vehicle prototype engine

Vehicle prototype engine

A prototype assistant that parses a test driver's written or spoken report into issues ranked by priority, links each to the components involved and the root-cause chain, shows the sensor series on the track trajectory at the moment the driver describes, and proposes resolutions from analogous tests to apply to the next build.

Overview

Test drivers write long reports and record voice notes; engineers read them days later and try to match a sentence to a sensor trace from a five-hour drive. Lessons from last year's prototype live in someone's inbox.

The assistant parses the report into issues with priority and the components involved, each linked back to the text and audio. Root-cause analysis draws the chain from component to event; the trajectory view puts the sensor series on the track at the described moment; resolutions come from analogous tests and are applied to the next build. The vehicle 360 joins PLM, bill of materials and IoT data for the prototype.

Key features

  • Parsing driver feedback: spoken comments and notes turned into organised issues linked to the audio and text.
  • AI-suggested issue identity: performance problems surfaced and ranked by importance.
  • Linking to sensor data: issues contextualised with the vehicle's sensor series on the trajectory.
  • Root cause, resolutions and vehicle 360 across PLM, BoM and IoT data.

Decisions it produces

  • Confirm an extracted issue and its priority
  • Open the sensor series at the described moment
  • Apply a resolution to the next prototype build
  • Ask a question of the drive data
